My new apartment is awesome. It comes with everything! Air conditioning, new stainless steel kitchen appliances, hardwood floors, brand new countertops, a roof deck, a BBQ grill, 2 bedrooms and an office. It even comes fully furnished with a bedroom closet organizer for each bedroom! The couch is great. There are rugs, love seats, a big-screen TV, a DVD player, and even a fireplace. I can’t believe this! It’s like I found an apartment in space and got a great deal on the rent! Sure, the rent is 2500 a month, which is pretty steep, but I’m making more than enough at my copy writing job to handle it. I’m even due for a raise next year. I don’t know if I’ll ever want to move though. I can picture myself living here for years and years so long as my rent doesn’t get hiked up too much, though I’m pretty sure I would be able to handle that. When I was younger, my mom raised me alone in a small one-bedroom apartment where there was no air conditioning at all and the TV never worked on Tuesdays and Fridays. This is what I’ve been working towards my whole entire life and I’m going to kick back and enjoy it.

When I was looking for a company to install a total security system for my business, I came across the website of DSC Security. I opted to go with them over all of the other options available to me for one simple reason – More than ninety seven percent of their customers would recommend DSC to others. That number astounded me, I’ve never heard of any service company having that close to a one hundred percent satisfaction rate. I had one of their reps come out to my business to show me what they had to offer, and aside from the out of this world customer service, the systems they offer are very affordable and very user friendly. I chose a system with the standard motion and glass break detectors as well as vibration detectors and closed caption TV. To go along with the top-notch security system, I bought an under the floor safe, which after installed was totally concealed – virtually impossible to see. My shop is in a less than favorable section of the city and I had begun to get concerned about what exactly was happening down there after hours or what I was going to find when I arrived in the morning, but now I truly feel safe and secure when I close up shop and head home for the night.

I used to wear glasses all the time though they never really cramped my style. But my sister met this guy and he knew a guy who was roommates with this other guy whose brother is this really great eye surgeon. He knew a lot about laser eye surgery. So I flew down to get Lasik in Charlotte. And I’ve got to say that this guy, Doctor Philips, must be a genius. In fact, I think that I would swear on it. I’ve got 20/20 vision now. I wore glasses all my life and now people tell me I look completely different. They can actually see my bright blue eyes and tell me that they’re actually looking at my face instead of at my glasses. A lot of people have told that I’m actually quite handsome and that they never noticed it before. All right, they were my sister and a couple of my female cousins. They still count though, don’t they? They are women and they know a handsome man when they see one. My life might be turning around since I got Lasik in Charlotte. I’d heard of the procedure before, but not of Doctor Philips. I definitely wish I had.

Sometimes people lose hair for no reason. Cause of hair loss can range from the physical to the psychological to the environment. Debbie, a friend of Laura's, has been losing her hair, or so she says. I can't see that she has, but I suppose she knows her own scalp. Laura says she can't see any hair loss either. That didn't stop Debbie from wanting Laura to go with her one afternoon to go and look for wigs. Laura thought this was ridiculous, but Debbie insisted. They asked me if I wanted to come along. I declined, though I do need a wig… or something. I guess I have had some hair loss, but I think mine is due to stress. I have had a lot of stress lately. With no relief. So Laura and Debbie went out one afternoon and looked for wigs for Debbie. ~She finally got one she liked. A blond wig. Debbie is a brunette. I saw her once in the wig and she looked pretty strange. I laughed. I don't think she was happy that I did. She seemed to take it badly. Laura just gave me a dirty look. She took me aside later and said that Debbie was losing her hair and that it was no laughing matter. I apologized in a way later in the day. ~Debbie seemed okay with it.~

When Miss Bessie was younger, my Grandma told me, she was as skinny as a rail. She could and did eat anything she wanted. She loved going out to eat, and was never caught without a candy bar or two, and she loved colas. Grandma says as Miss Bessie grew up, she seemed to lose her energy and started putting on lots of weight. She was told she had developed diabetes. She had to start taking care of herself and needed to loose the weight. She learned how to eat right and had to gather glucose blood test supplies, things her doctor told her she would need. Of course, Grandma says, it was not easy for Miss Bessie to adjust because she was in denial about having diabetes. She just wanted her happy go lucky lifestyle back. It’s a good thing that my Grandmother had already gone through adjusting to living with diabetes, because my Grandfather had been told he had diabetes, and was in denial a while himself. He says if it wasn’t for Grandma, he probably wouldn’t be around these 30 years later. She took charge of his life and insisted that he exercise, eat right and not give her any trouble about doing it, either!

My uncle had a bad accident back in the 1980's. And he was able to keep the bill collectors at bay for about a decade. He really didn't have to try too hard, he said. Just tell the creditors that he would pay a little, or he was willing to work things out. Going for broke wasn't an option. He didn't want that on his record, though finding a personal injury attorney in Washington was simpler then, and favored the consumer. Now if you get in trouble money wise you are in big trouble. You can't do a chapter this or a chapter that and expect to walk away. You will really get twisted. My uncle eventually managed to get a few family loans and pay off most of what he owed. Even then he was forever making payments to about a half dozen creditors. He actually came into some cash after that. But did he put it towards the money he owed? No, he went to Vegas and blew it. It’s a scientific fact that you will never leave Vegas with as much money as when you entered. I told my sister that is what he would do. I was right. She said no, he wouldn't. But she really doesn’t know him like I do. Speaking of my uncle I've got to go and pick him up. He can't drive anymore, which is probably a good thing. Keep him off the road.

By most accounts, the origin of Science Fiction as a distinct literary genre dates back to 1926, when Hugo Gernsback started publishing what he called "scientifiction" in a new magazine known as Amazing Stories. Some creationists generally regard Creationism as science, and honestly believe that the events in the Book of Genesis can be scientifically argued. I guess no matter whom we blame, no matter how rich Bill Gates is, and no matter how much we snicker when those Star Trek Conventions come around, we can blame the shift of Computer Science into the main stream, on the fact that computers are everywhere.

Political science is one of those areas where you can go to five different colleges and end up getting five different curriculums. Additionally, as an undergraduate study, computer information science vocational schools help students to attain crucial skills necessary to go on to achieving Associates, Bachelors; or a Doctorates degree through other educational venues such as Computer Information Science Universities and colleges.

Additional computer science vocational courses offer diverse educational skills and training in database construction; website development; consumer-based interfaces; and training in a wide assortment of computer languages – which may lead to a broad variety of certifications. Vocational computer science schools offer a wide curriculum that may include but is not limited to concepts of computer science; scientific computing; web building applications; introduction to algorithms and data structures; introduction to software engineering and system programming; introduction to computer graphics; programming languages; and other relevant information technology coursework. Generally, computer Information Science vocational schools may provide extensive curriculum in hardware and software technology; computer theory, science and applications thereof.

Online schools allow students to study Computer Information Science at their own pace, while maintaining current employment. A distance-learning program allows individuals to study Computer Science at their convenience, without leaving current employment. Your first semester in college, when starting a program in computer science, usually starts you off slowly.
